This lecture is appropriate for Allied Health in:Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists and Nursing Professionals.

Dr Robert Campbell trained in neurosurgery in Australia and New Zealand before undertaking further subspecialty training in paediatric and craniofacial neurosurgery in the United Kingdom. He has appointments as a consultant neurosurgeon at the Princess Alexandra, Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital and Mater Centre for Neuroscience.

Dr Campbell’s special interests include image guided surgery for complex brain and pituitary tumours, craniofacial surgery, surgery for pain management, endoscopic surgical techniques for brain disease and neurosurgical disorders of childhood.

Tonight Dr Campbell will explore commonly seen tumours discussing their prognosis, goal setting and specific management points for allied health working from the acute to sub-acute stages of recovery

After Dr Campbells presentation, the Cancer Council will be present to share the different services and programs that they provide to cancer patients and their loved ones and also explain how people can access or be referred into these services.
