An Integrated and Dynamic Approach To the Pelvic/hip Region

Course: An Integrated and Dynamic Approach to the Pelvic/Hip Region

Contemporary, evidence-based management of pelvic girdle pain requires consideration of the lumbar spine, pelvic girdle and hip regions - an integrated approach. This course will review the anatomy and biomechanics of the SIJ and discuss assessment of this region with respect to the literature. Participants will practice SIJ assessment techniques and gain practical functional assessment skills for differential diagnosis of the patient presenting with pelvic girdle pain.

Presenter: Jennifer Hynes, FACP
